Georgia is 2 wins from repeating as national champions. One of the main factors has been the steadying presence of quarterback Stetson Bennett.
The senior signal caller has passed for 3,425 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions with a QBR of 86.3. Georgia tight end Brock Bowers was effusive in his praise of Bennett during an interview with media personality Chris Gordy.

Bowers believes Bennett’s leadership has been crucial for the undefeated Bulldogs.
“He’s been doing great this year, just helping us a motivator on the team and just getting the job done. Just studying the game and making the right reads,” Bowers said. “Kind of knowing what the defense is going to do before they do it and just playing off that.”
Bowers has been Bennett’s favorite target this season. The sophomore has hauled in 52 receptions for 726 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Georgia trounced LSU 50-30 to capture the SEC championship. Next up for Georgia is a matchup against Ohio State in the College Football Playoff semifinals. The Peach Bowl clash will be just the 2nd meeting between the programs. Georgia won the only matchup 21-14 in the 1993 Citrus Bowl.
If Georgia wins, it’ll face the winner of Michigan-TCU in the national title game.
