Mississippi State’s leading tackler each of the last two seasons, linebacker Richie Brown has played his last game for the Bulldogs.

Fortunately for Brown, it was a 17-16 win over Miami of Ohio in the St. Petersburg Bowl. While MSU didn’t play a clean contest and needed a break or two along the way, the Dogs never have to apologize for a victory during bowl season.

A fifth-year senior, Brown has been witness to some dizzying highs as well as some cavernous lows throughout his career in Starkville. Already graduated and currently working on his MBA, he’s preparing for a life in the real world. That being said, he’s going to take a shot at the next level first and try to make it in the NFL.

Be sure to watch the video above, as Brown spent some time with SDS for a one-on-one interview from Tropicana Field.
