Bryce Underwood’s senior season of high school football is off to a good start.

The LSU commit won his team a game on Friday night with a 58-yard touchdown run with under 2 minutes remaining in the contest. Here’s a look at Underwood’s dash through the defense:

That touchdown proved to be enough as Underwood’s Belleville team went on to defeat Clarkston 35-28. Belleville is now 1-0 on the season.

That wasn’t Underwood’s only touchdown run of the game. He also maneuvered around the defense for this 37-yard TD run in the first half:

LSU is hoping Underwood will make a big impact during his time at LSU. Underwood isn’t just a 5-star prospect — he’s the No. 1 overall player in the country for the class of 2025, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

He headlines an LSU recruiting class that is one of the best in the country for this cycle. LSU’s class currently sits at No. 3 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

LSU will open its 2024 season on Sunday night against USC.
