Jalen Milroe faces perhaps the most important football game of his career up to this point this Saturday against No. 11 Texas.

The Longhorns travel to Tuscaloosa looking for revenge from last season’s 20-19 loss to the Tide in Austin. It was a great game and many expect it to play out similarly this season.

Bryce Young started that game for the Crimson Tide and played well but was obviously affected by the Longhorns defense. Of course, the Tide went on to win and Young went on to be drafted No. 1 overall by the Carolina Panthers in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Young is set to make his regular season debut Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, a day after Milroe and Co. take on the Longhorns.

“J-Mil balled out, I’ve been able to watch him grow and continue to get better in all aspects from being on the field to off the field. his understanding of the game and of the offense, his command and everything on the field continues to grow,” Young said. “That’s my guy, that’s my brother, so I’m super excited for him… It was really great to see the success he had… He’s a great player, and it shows on the field… But he’s also a great person, great dude.”

Alabama faces off against Texas Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
