John Kelly and Will Ignont, who were each cited for marijuana possession last week, and were subsequently suspended for the Kentucky game, are cleared to return, Tennessee coach Butch Jones said.

The players have been practicing this week and they’re cleared to be available for Saturday’s game against Southern Miss.

Kelly, Tennessee’s leading rusher, and Ignont, a backup linebacker, were suspended after they were cited by the Knoxville Police Department when police say they found marijuana in a vehicle the players were in.

Kelly is sixth in the SEC in rushing yards per game at 87.8 yards, and has collected 615 yards in seven games for six touchdowns.

The Knoxville News-Sentinel reported that Kelly and Ignont cooperated with police and were allowed to drive off after receiving citations, according to the incident report. They are scheduled to arrive for booking at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 7.
