LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron has prostate cancer, according to The Advocate, citing sources. Cameron plans to coach the 2015 season, and he’s received treatment for the cancer.

This isn’t the first time Cameron has faced the disease. He survived serious melanoma as a 28 year-old.

Former offensive coordinator Steve Kragthorpe was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease prior to the start of 2011, four years before Cameron’s diagnosis.

Update at 7:30 p.m. ET: Cam Cameron and Les Miles held a press conference to address Cameron’s health and future with the program.

“I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer, and I’ve been given a clean bill of health,” Cameron said.
