No. 1 Georgia will be without star tight end Brock Bowers for an indefinite amount of time according to Kirby Smart due to his ankle injury.
Georgia is currently on a bye week and will face rival Florida on Oct. 28. CBS analyst Rick Neuheisel believes the Bulldogs will actually improve during the span of Bowers’ absence.
"This roster is actually gonna get better without (Brock Bowers) because everybody's gonna get more chances."

“This is a roster that can withstand this and I don’t mean to diminish the value of Brock Bowers,” Neuheisel said. “But this roster is actually going to get better without him because everybody is going to get more chances.”
Neuheisel shares some of the players that will hold down the fort until Bowers is back on board.
“Dominic Lovett, the transfer from Missouri. Rara Thomas, the transfer from Mississippi State. Going to see more balls. Ladd McConkey, who was late to the party because of an injury, he’s going to get more chances,” Neuheisel said. “Everybody is going to be happy because the ball is going to be coming their way more often. Bowers will come back in time for the big games at the end of the season.”
Georgia vs. Florida is slated for a 3:30 p.m. EST kickoff in Week 9 and will be televised on CBS.
