CFB handicapper Danny Sheridan is a frequent commenter on SEC football, and on Sunday, he released his odds for each team to win the 2022 SEC title.
He had Alabama with the best odds, unsurprisingly, closely followed by last year’s national champion Georgia. Alabama had 5:7 odds and Georgia was at 7:5.
Then comes Texas A&M at 20:1, followed by Auburn, Florida and Tennessee at 75:1. The next group of Arkansas, Kentucky and Ole Miss has 100:1 odds, with LSU at 125:1, Mississippi State and South Carolina at 250:1, Mizzou at 10,000:1 and Vanderbilt jokingly at 100 million:1, as you can see below:
my SEC title odds: Ala 5:7; UGA 7:5. A&M 20:1; Auburn Florida & Tenn 75:1; Ark & KY & Ole Miss 100:1; LSU 125:1, Miss St & S. Carolina 250:1; Missouri 10k:1 & Vanderbilt 100 million:1; if OU & Texas were in the SEC this year: Texas 50:1 & Oklahoma 150:1 #SECFootball

He also gave odds for Texas and Oklahoma if they were in the SEC this year, giving the Longhorns a 50:1 chance and putting Oklahoma at 150:1.
Who will hoist the league championship trophy this year? We’ll find out on the first Saturday of December. Safe to say Sheridan doesn’t think Vanderbilt will be making a miracle run to Atlanta, though.
