Chris Doering and Peter Burns like to make friendly bets when their teams face off. The Gator great may be a little hesitant about continuing to make friendly bets with his SEC Network colleague from Baton Rouge.

Doering and Burns’ teams made it to the College World Series Finals last month. The Tigers took the best of 3 series against the Gators, meaning Doering had to sport purple and gold, as per his bet with Burns.

On Sunday, Doering kept his word and arrived in Nashville for SEC Media Days dressed as an LSU baseball player. Burns shared proof of the Gator great in Tigers gear.

Doering has now been on the losing end of his last 5 Florida-LSU bets with Burns. The Tigers have a 4-game winning streak in the annual rivalry on the gridiron.

For those wondering, LSU hosts Florida on Nov. 11. We’ll see if Doering and Burns make another friendly bet.
