Handicapper Danny Sheridan is a popular figure across the SEC for his Alabama roots and regular appearances on The Paul Finebaum Show. He is often asked for his opinion on an upcoming or hypothetical betting line.

There’s arguably no bigger game in the SEC than LSU’s trip to Alabama on Nov. 9, and Sheridan has responded to a tweet asking about the game, and said Alabama would be a 10.5-point favorite.

The teams are both ranked in the top five of the latest Associated Press poll, and they’ve shown plenty this season, especially in the passing game, to be among the elite teams across America.

While Alabama has several future NFL players at wide receiver, LSU has its best quarterback in Joe Burrow in several years, and the main reason why some feel like LSU can finally beat Alabama this season. The Tigers have dropped eight straight in the series against the Crimson Tide, which now holds a 53-25-5 edge all-time.

Last year, Alabama won 29-0 after it led 16-0 by halftime and forced punts on LSU’s first nine possessions.
