Without a doubt, the most bizarre moment of Saturday’s Fiesta Bowl came when Clemson DL Christian Wilkins inappropriately grabbed Ohio State RB Curtis Samuels while he was on the ground.
Sunday, Wilkins apologized for what he says was just him being competitive.

Clemson went onto win the game 31-0 and advance to the national championship game in Tampa on Jan. 9. With all the attention Wilkins has received, Alabama’s offensive players should be able to rest easy that Tigers defenders are unlikely to try something like that when the two teams meet for their rematch of last year’s championship game.
