College football prepared to set new record of early entrants to NFL Draft
Players are leaving early for the NFL Draft like never before, and that’s not an exaggeration.
At the moment, there’s 105 expected early entrants for the draft, which would be an all-time record. ESPN Stats & Info put out this graphic on Twitter to show the stunning rise in this amount since 2010.
Although the exact number won’t be known until the official list comes out this Friday, the expected number of 105 would be double that of six years ago.
As of Monday evening, there were 27 players from the SEC alone that have declared.
