Game 2 of the College World Series between Vanderbilt and Mississippi State was supposed to start at 7 p.m. Eastern time.

However, the ballpark in Omaha was, for the second night in a row, dealing with rain, forcing the game to be delayed.

The Game 2 delay was even longer than the Game 1 delay, which ended up being about an hour long. The Game 2 delay is scheduled to end after more than 2 hours. Per the NCAA, the game is scheduled to start at 9:09 p.m. Eastern (8:09 p.m. local Omaha time):

Vanderbilt will have a chance to clinch the College World Series title with a win. If Mississippi State wins, the Bulldogs will force a winner-take-all Game 3 on Wednesday night.
