Seattle Seahawks reportedly cut player after he was caught attempting to sneak woman into team hotel
Sports organizations around the country are doing everything in their power just to have a season and in order to do so, players, coaches and members of the organization have to follow rigid guidelines and protocols.
That is a hard lesson rookie defensive back
learned this week after being released by the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday.A rookie being cut isn’t big news in the NFL world but the reported reason behind Siverand’s release from the team is pretty interesting.
According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero,
was released by the Seahawks after attempting to sneak a woman into the team’s hotel. That single violation was enough to put the entire team at risk, so had to go.
If that wasn’t bad enough,
“The woman was wearing Seahawks gear in an attempt to disguise her as a player, I’m told. It did not work,” added.
Simply incredible.
