Stop me if you’ve heard this before — the Atlanta Falcons blew a big lead and eventually lost the game.

That’s exactly what happened Sunday (again) against the Dallas Cowboys. The Falcons blew a 20-point lead to eventually lose 40-39 on a heartbreaking last-second field goal.

During the process of the come-from-behind win, Dak Prescott made NFL history as the first player to throw for over 400 yards and rush for 3 touchdowns in a single game. The Cowboys signal caller combined for 4 touchdowns in the comeback.

Prescott is playing out the 2020 season on a franchise tag, which makes him the highest-paid player in the NFL this year on base salary alone. He’s making $31.409 million this year, and he earned during Sunday’s win. He connected on 34-of-47 for 450 yards through the air.

The Cowboys looked rough during the first half, but came alive in the second, thanks in part to a late onside kick that allowed Dallas to somehow pull out the victory.
