On Sunday afternoon, former Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott was the subject of a video that went viral, showing the Dallas quarterback attempting to throw a cup in the trash can, missing, and then stopping to pick it up and put it where it belonged.
That moment led to Prescott receiving a lot of praise for his actions. Many said it showed what a humble guy he was and that he was a great leader.
On Tuesday, Prescott, the humble guy that he is, said he didn’t think he did anything special. In fact, he added, if people are impressed by him picking up trash, maybe more people should make that a regular part of their routines:
Dak on viral video of picking up cup: More people need to pick up their trash if it was that big of a deal. I simply missed the garbage can.

On a lighter note, Prescott attempted to explain why the cup missed the trash can in the first place, citing ice as the main culprit:
Prescott: Didn't think much of it. Get up & put trash were it belonged.
