Dan Mullen has a new top 25 with Week 12’s college football games in the books.
Mullen’s top team is no surprise: Oregon. The Ducks remained in Mullen’s top spot after barely getting past Wisconsin in Madison on Saturday. Meanwhile, Indiana, in the midst of an open week, stayed at No. 2.
Texas got a challenge from Arkansas, but the Longhorns moved up to No. 3 after their victory in Fayetteville. They were No. 5 in Mullen’s previous rankings but jumped two spots thanks in part to BYU’s upset loss against Kansas. The Cougars fell from No. 3 to No. 9 as a result.
Ohio State remained steady at No. 4 ahead of a Top 5 showdown against the Hoosiers, while Notre Dame found itself at No. 5 after handling Virginia 35-14. Tennessee, No. 6 a week ago, dropped to No. 13 after a loss to Georgia, while the Bulldogs rose from No. 13 to No. 11. Ole Miss, Miami, Alabama, BYU, and SMU rounded out Mullen’s top 10, with the Mustangs holding off Boston College and moving up from No. 15.

Three teams from both the Big Ten and the SEC, along with two teams from the ACC, landed in Mullen’s top 10. Boise State, at No. 14, is Mullen’s highest-ranked team outside the Power 4.
