It was a fun Rivalry Week in college football and CBS Sports’ Danny Kannell has updated his top 12 rankings now that the regular season has come to a close.
Kanell has 3 SEC teams on the list: No. 1 Georgia, No. 6 Alabama, and No. 8 Tennessee.

Georgia defeated Georgia Tech 37-14 to complete an undefeated regular season. Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett completed 10 of his 18 passes for 140 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions. Kenny McIntosh rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown, while hauling in 2 passes for 96 yards. Georgia linebacker Robert Beal Jr. recovered 2 fumbles.
Alabama beat Auburn 49-27 in the Iron Bowl. Alabama quarterback Bryce Young went 20-for-30 with 343 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Alabama rushed for 4 touchdowns from Young, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jase McClellan, and Roydell Williams. Will Anderson Jr. tallied 2 sacks and 3 tackles for loss.
Tennessee blanked Vanderbilt 56-0. Tennessee backup quarterback Joe Milton III finished with 147 yards, 1 touchdown, and no interceptions. Tennessee running backs Jaylen Wright and Dylan Sampson combined for 291 yards and 3 touchdowns. Roman Harrison recorded 2 sacks for Tennessee.
Georgia will now take on LSU on Dec. 3. in the SEC Championship Game (4 p.m. ET/CBS).
