Danny Kanell is a big believer in No. 1 Georgia this weekend in the rivalry matchup against Florida in Jacksonville. The CBS Sports analyst is riding with the Bulldogs for the win and to cover the 14.5 spread vs. the Gators.

Kanell believes Georgia will bring its A-game to EverBank Stadium.

“I ain’t scared. I’m going to go ahead and lay ’em. Here’s why. Georgia has been up and down…When they are on, they are the best team in the country. They can get it going. This is a rivalry game that they will be up for,” Kanell said. “…I think the best version of Georgia shows up. I think Georgia wins and covers in this one.”

Kanell thinks that Georgia has the talent on both sides of the ball to put this game out of reach.

“Carson Beck quietly they’re throwing for over 330 yards a game. They’re 1 of the top passing offenses in the country which is not what you’re used to seeing out of the Georgia Bulldogs,” Kanell said. “Their defense is going to continue to get better.”

Meanwhile, Kanell is impressed with Florida quarterback Graham Mertz but beyond that doesn’t have any other major positives to point out for the Gators.

“While Graham Mertz really has been a pleasant surprise for the Florida Gators, that’s about the only surprise that’s been on the upside for the Florida Gators,” Kanell said.

Georgia vs. Florida will begin at 3:30 p.m. EST (CBS).
