Demarcus Robinson and Matthew Stafford were no doubt keeping tabs on their respective alma maters on Saturday during the Cocktail Party, but on Sunday, the ex-Florida wide receiver and former Georgia quarterback connected for a game-winning overtime touchdown as the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks 26-20.
The Seahawks had tied the game at 20 with less than a minute to go thanks to a Geno Smith touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The game eventually went to overtime, and after the Seahawks failed to convert a short 4th-and-1 from the Rams’ 16, Los Angeles took over.
Four plays later, the Rams were in the end zone, as Stafford fired down field to Robinson — who made a pretty catch to end the game with Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen in hot pursuit.

The Rams improved to 4-4 with the win, picking up their first road victory of the season in the process. Stafford finished 25-of-44 for 298 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception while being sacked 0 times. Robinson ended the day with 6 catches, 94 yards, and 2 TDs, his first coming in the third quarter.
It’s also three straight wins for the Rams. Their next game is on Nov. 11, a Monday Night Football home contest against the Miami Dolphins.
