Football fans have long memories, especially when it comes to bumper-car defense because of a Derrick Henry stiff-arm.

So when the Baltimore Ravens released seven-time Pro Bowl safety Earl Thomas two days after an on-field altercation with teammate Chuck Clark, plenty of fans on Twitter recalled Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry and two stiff arms of Thomas in the playoffs last season. It generated such a buzz on Sunday afternoon that Henry was trending on Twitter.

The Ravens announced they had terminated his contract for personal conduct that has adversely affected the team. The Ravens are expected to try to void his $10 million guaranteed salary this season. It is expected the safety will file a grievance, ESPN reported.
