De’Von Achane is off to a historic start to his NFL career. The former Texas A&M running back has been a driving force behind the Miami Dolphins’ 3-1 mark and explosive offense.
The Dolphins recently shared a post stating that Achane is the 4th player in NFL history with 6 touchdowns in the first 3 games of his career, joining Kareem Hunt, Billy Sims, and Dutch Sternaman.

The electric Achane has rushed for 309 yards and an insane 11.4 yards per carry, which has some questioning whether he should be elevated to the starting spot. Achane didn’t play in Week 1 at the Los Angeles Chargers and only had 1 carry the following week at the New England Patriots.
Achane’s coming out party was in the Week 3 70-20 eruption at home against the Denver Broncos. Achane exploded on the scene with 18 carries for 203 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also catching 4 receptions for 30 yards and 2 scores. Last weekend at the Bills, Achane finished with 8 carries for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Dolphins selected Achane with the No. 84 pick in the 3rd round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Achane played 3 seasons at Texas A&M, capped off with earning First-team All-SEC honors in 2022. Achane amassed 28 total touchdowns (21 rushing, 5 receiving, 2 kick returns) as an Aggie.
