LSU’s defense has been banged up in recent weeks, but the Tigers will be mostly healthy on that side of the ball when they face Texas A&M on Saturday.
During his Monday press conference, Ed Orgeron announced that senior safety John Battle, sophomore safety Todd Harris and freshman cornerback Kelvin Joseph will all be available against the Aggies. Junior defensive lineman Breiden Fehoko, however, will miss the rest of the season.
Junior cornerback Kristian Fulton has also missed time for the Tigers’ injured secondary over the past month, though Orgeron was not asked about his status.
Battle has been a steadying presence in LSU’s smothering defensive backfield, while Harris and Joseph have provided critical depth amid the slew of injuries. Fehoko’s loss will sting, but he has not played in the Tigers’ last four games.
LSU (9-2, 5-2 SEC) visits Texas A&M (7-4, 4-3) at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
