The Auburn Tigers are losing star RBs Kerryon Johnson and Kamryn Pettway to the NFL Draft this year, so it’s no surprise they’re targeting the position on the recruiting trails.

On Sunday, they got some great news on that front, landing 4-star 2018 RB Harold Joiner, an in-state prospect.

Joiner, who was also considering Ole Miss, Alabama, Clemson and other schools, announced his decision via Twitter, as you can see below:

According to the 247Sports composite, Joiner is the No. 5 running back in the class of 2018 and the No. 3 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.

Joiner joins fellow 4-star RB Asa Martin as running back commits in Auburn’s 2018 class, which currently ranks No. 3 in the SEC and No. 10 nationally.
