The national sweepstakes to sign 5-star prospect Kayvon Thibodeaux is quickly approaching its end.
The elite defensive end out of Thousand Oaks, California, announced his commitment date and what appears to be a list of finalists Friday on Twitter. He’ll make his commitment between Alabama, Florida, Florida State and Oregon on Dec. 15.

Just about every elite program has been after Thibodeaux, who’s the second-best player nationally per 247Sports.com’s composite ratings. The 6-foot-4, 239 pound defensive end ranks behind only Georgia commit Nolan Smith, who shares his position.
He would be a huge signing for the Crimson Tide or Gators, who will surely be tuned into Thibodeaux’s commitment announcement in a few weeks. For now, they and their fans can salivate over his highlights, courtesy of Hudl.
