Since joining ESPN back in 2014, Maria Taylor’s career has really taken off.

Last season, she served as an analyst on College GameDay and also joined Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler’s broadcast team as a sideline reporter. She also works in various roles covering men’s and women’s basketball and serves as a guest host of a variety of programs.

On Tuesday, ESPN announced that Taylor would continue to be a steady presence on the network. In a release from the Worldwide Leader, it was announced that Taylor had agreed to a contract extension:

“I have been blessed with so many opportunities to grow and evolve as a broadcaster and learn from so many incredible people,” said Taylor. “I am excited to start the next chapter of my career with my ESPN family, and to continue working with the players, coaches, and programs that I am incredibly passionate about.”

Terms of the new contract haven’t been announced yet, but Taylor will at least be around for the near future.

She’ll be back in action this weekend, when GameDay comes to us from South Bend ahead of the Week 1 Michigan-Notre Dame game.
