For Ole Miss fans, it’s exciting to see the Rebels are nominated for an ESPY. A mistake by ESPN, however, makes voting for Ole Miss to win said ESPY much less enjoyable.

Officially, Chad Kelly’s improbable touchdown pass to Quincy Adeboyejo against Alabama, a play that starts with a bobbled snap, which leads to a desperation heave that gets tipped with the ball winding up in the hands of Adeboyejo for a 66-yard score, is nominated in the Best Play category. It’s up for a fan vote against Aaron Rodgers’ Hail Mary touchdown pass in the Green Bay-Detroit game last season, in a March Madness style No. 1 seed vs. No. 16 seed bracket.

Potential voters, however, are shown a very different play:

The caption describes the Adeboyejo touchdown, but the actual video posted by ESPN is of Arkansas’ fourth-and-25 conversion against Ole Miss, arguably the most heartbreaking play of the Rebels’ season. Ouch.

Video of the nominated play is widely available online, including in this YouTube video:
