Southern University football player Devon Gales’ life changed on Sept. 26, 2015, when his team took on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Gales suffered a spinal cord injury and has been paralyzed ever since, though he’s slowly regaining some lower-limb movement.

On Saturday, Tom Rinaldi will air his story on Gales during ESPN’s College GameDay show, according to DawgNation.com. The piece will likely be a classic Rinaldi story, eliciting powerful responses from viewers.

Tune in to ESPN at 9 a.m. Eastern time to watch College GameDay, which runs until noon.
