As the 2020 season continues to draw closer to its scheduled September start date, there are growing concerns about whether or not the season can go on.
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to dominate headlines, as cases are on the rise in numerous states throughout the country.
Many conferences have reportedly discussed a spring season, but ESPN’s Heather Dinich said on Tuesday’s “The Paul Finebaum Show” that moving the season is a last resort:
“Spring football is a last resort,” says @CFBHeather about the growing pessimism among college football leaders and the options about the regular season.

Still, it is being considered, and if states can’t slow the spread of the virus, it’s possible the football season could be moved.
The good news is there’s still a bit of time before any final decisions need to be made, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens moving forward.
