So, what does this mean for football coach Chip Kelly and men’s basketball coach Mick Cronin? Fans are speculating about their futures with the program on Twitter:
Will be interesting to see how this affects Chip Kelly's job security. Short term may help as UCLA won't want a lame duck AD hiring the next coach. But Chip better be good next year when there's a new AD with no loyalty to him https://t.co/Y0CERAOImV

Mick Cronin and Chip Kelly both get to work for the person who didn’t hire them. That’ll go swimmingly. https://t.co/fln9mIaxFD

Things are in flux at UCLA now, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens. Kelly’s tenure just got a whole lot less stable though.
