Florida will be without one of its young defensive backs when it takes the field against Missouri.

According to several reports from On3 and 247Sports, Devin Moore, a true freshman, is out for Saturday’s game against the Tigers in Gainesville. He was not on the team’s injury report on Wednesday, On3’s Nick de la Torre reported.

The former 4-star recruit from Naples, Fla., has played in every game this season, recording 6 tackles. A one-time Notre Dame commit, he signed with the Gators on Dec. 15 and joined the team as an early enrollee in January.

Kickoff between Florida and Missouri from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is set for noon ET on ESPN. The Gators are 3-2 and are coming off a 52-17 win over FCS Eastern Washington on Sunday, a game that was postponed from its original Oct. 1 date due to the effects of Hurricane Ian.
