Florida will aim to avoid another losing streak when it hosts Mississippi State on Saturday for Homecoming. The Gators will don some throwback helmets for their fourth SEC game of the season.

On its social media account, Florida gave a closer look at the vintage orange helmets with UF in white letters that they’ll wear for the contest against Mississippi State.

The Gators will also wear blue jerseys that have orange and white stripes along the shoulder pads. This will be the first time in the Billy Napier era that Florida will wear throwbacks.

This is being reported as potentially the final game for the embattled Napier, who has 2-4 Florida at 11th in the SEC standings.

Florida is coming off a 34-14 loss at then-No. 5 Texas A&M. This is the Gators’ first game against a non-ranked opponent since the 18-16 loss against South Florida in Week 2.

Mississippi State at Florida is set for a 4:15 p.m. ET kickoff (SEC Network).
