Florida enters 2016 with the same questions it’s had at the position since Tim Tebow left.
The Gators sure hope to find an answer for that sooner rather than later, but they still have to be prepared in case it is later, and that’s why they’ve offered five-star QB Trevor Lawrence, who’s rated as the No. 1 overall prospect in the Class of 2018.
Lawrence, a 6-foot-5, 191-pounder out of Cartersville High School (Ga.), announced the offer via Twitter on Thursday:

Lawrence has been offered by 18 schools so far, including Georgia, Tennessee, Clemson and Duke.
Coach Jim McElwain and the Gators are doing their best to find solutions on the recruiting trail, getting commitments from two quarterbacks in the Class of 2016 in four-star prospect Feleipe Franks and three-star Kyle Trask.
