As the 68 March Madness teams were announced on Sunday evening, the Florida Gators were awarded the No. 6 seed in the East region.

However, while the other teams know what their first-round opponent will be, the Gators will have to wait until Tuesday.

That’s because coach Mike White’s squad will take on the winner of a First Four game in Dayton. St. Bonaventure and UCLA will square off for the East’s No. 11 seed.

The winner of that game will face Florida in Dallas on Thursday. If the Gators win, they’ll advance to take on the winner of the game between No. 3 Texas Tech and No. 14 Stephen F. Austin.
