Florida to wear helmet decals Saturday against Vanderbilt to honor UVA shooting victims

The college football world…and the nation in general, was rocked this week by the gun violence at the University of Virginia that claimed the lives of three members of the Cavaliers football team and wounded two others.
Many in the football community from the high schools to the pros have offered their support and condolences to those at the university that continue to deal with the fallout.
The Florida Gators will wear a decal on their helmet to honor the fallen players — Devin Chandler, D’Sean Perry and Lavel Davis Jr. with their numbers and the UVA logo all the decals.

LSU will also wear a helmet decal for its game against UAB.
