Former Alabama WR Christion Jones is back in the Canadian Football League.

After being cut by the Miami Dolphins, Jones worked with trainer Mike McCoy, a former Alabama standout himself, in search of another football opportunity. Jones found a home with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, making his debut Sunday night. The Roughriders used Jones on special teams, where he made three returns (two kicks and one punt) for 73 yards.

Following the game, McCoy shared a photo of Jones on Instagram to show how proud he was of his client for refusing to give up despite his struggles to make an NFL roster.

Jones, who originally signed with Miami in 2015 as an undrafted free agent and signed with the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts in 2016.
