Former Auburn WR Ricardo Louis will do anything to make it in the NFL, even if it that means switching to defense.

AL.com’s Brandon Marcello spoke to Louis about his NFL preparation, including one team’s request at Auburn’s Pro Day earlier this month:

An NFL team asked him to work at defensive back during Auburn’s Pro Day and the Tigers’ top receiver in the 2015 season obliged.

“Whatever team wants me, whatever position, it doesn’t matter, as long as I play in the league,” he said. “I want to play as long as I possibly can and produce and be a part of the reason why we win a Super Bowl with whatever team I’m on.”

Louis played in all 13 games his senior season at Auburn, leading the 2015 Tigers’ receiving corps with 46 catches for 716 yards and three touchdowns. Marcello notes that Louis, who last played cornerback as a high school freshman, projects as a late-round draft pick at receiver.

Whether as a wideout or defensive back, there will likely be at least one NFL team willing to take a chance on Louis after his very impressive NFL Combine workouts last month in Indianapolis.
