Former Georgia standout Travon Walker needed only 1 game to get his first NFL sack.
Walker, the No. 1 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, made Washington Commanders QB Carson Wentz his first victim.
Some football fans were surprised that Walker went No. 1 overall, as he was not the most productive member of Georgia’s monster 2021 defense that helped bring the national championship trophy back to Athens. As the announcer points out, Walker’s initial burst off the line makes him a special player.

In the third quarter of his first NFL game, Walker has 3 tackles, the sack and a QB hit. The Jacksonville-Washington game is airing on FOX. The Commanders lead 14-12.
This figures to be the first of many Sunday highlights for Walker.
