The Denver Broncos were heavy favorites heading into Sunday night’s game against the 0-5 New York Giants, but injuries to several key players hampered Denver as the Broncos suffered a shocking home loss.
One player who went down with an injury was former Georgia WR Isaiah McKenzie, who has been a contributor to the offense and special teams.
McKenzie appeared to be near tears as he was carted off the field after injuring his leg while jumping for a pass:

It’s not yet known how severe McKenzie’s injury is, but the Broncos hope to know more on Monday, according to ESPN.com:
“The initial X-rays were both negative, so we’re lucky there,” Broncos coach Vance Joseph said. “They both looked like serious injuries, but the initial X-rays were negative. We’ll know more [Monday].”
McKenzie has returned 14 punts for 139 yards this year and has also made one catch and has one rush for four yards.
It remains to be seen how long he’ll be out, but hopefully the promising rookie’s injury isn’t too severe.
