Former LSU RB Leonard Fournette shouts out Tigers after win over Mississippi State

Former LSU RB Leonard Fournette is happy for his alma mater.
The Tigers took down Mississippi State 31-16 Saturday in Baton Rouge. Sunday, Fournette was back in the boot with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to take on the New Orleans Saints.
After the Bucs-Saints game, Fournette was asked about LSU’s win.
“They doing a great job. I’m proud of Coach Frank (Wilson). I’m happy he came back home. Shoutout to my boys, man. Love y’all LSU Tigers, man.”
Wilson is back at LSU as the running backs coach and Brian Kelly’s associate head coach. He was previously at LSU as running backs coach from 2010-to-2015, coaching Fournette for 2 seasons. Wilson was head coach at UTSA from 2016-to-2019 and McNeese from 2020-to-2021.

Sunday in New Orleans, Fournette had 24 carries for 65 yards and 2 catches for 9 yards in Tampa Bay’s 20-10 win over New Orleans in the Superdome, helping the Bucs get to 2-0 on the year.
