Former Missouri football player fired from TV anchor job after profanity-laced tirade

Vic Faust, a former Missouri football player in the mid-1990s, was fired from his job as a TV anchor for a St. Louis FOX affiliate after audio was leaked from a tirade Faust made about a female co-worker during their drive-time radio show.
The audio, which is edited, is available on Joe Holleman’s story with the Columbia Missourian.
From Holleman’s story:
Faust used profanity at least 40 times in berating Crystal Cooper, who was part of Faust’s morning-drive show Sept. 13 on KFNS (100.7 FM), also known as “The Viper.”
At one point, Faust tells Cooper to not come back to the show.
“If you come back, I’m going to be in your (expletive) every (expletive) day,” Faust said, who added that he would “call you a (expletive) every day.”
Faust spent seven years as a news anchor at KTVI Channel 2 in St. Louis, before that he spent 11 years as an anchor in Detroit.
He deleted his Twitter account, but posted an apology on his Instagram while also claiming he was secretly taped and hoping to have an “open dialogue about respect in the workplace and forgiveness.”
