Former Mississippi State offensive lineman Kyle Wallace passed away Wednesday after collapsing in front of his Bentonia Gibbs Elementary School students during gym class, according to WAPT.

The Yazoo County School District, which includes Betonia, Miss., posted a note on its Facebook page grieving the loss of Wallace, who also coached high school football.

Wallace, who played for MSU from 1998-2002, was 36.
