Four SEC representatives among 15 finalists for Walter Camp Player of the Year Award

The SEC is strongly in the running for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award, with four of the 15 players on the semifinalist list released Wednesday hailing from the conference.
Even more notable, though, is that two players are on the same team.
Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams appeared among the semifinalists, joining Kentucky linebacker Josh Allen and Georgia defensive back Deandre Baker as the SEC players up for the award. You can see a complete list of the 15 semifinalists below.
[table “” not found /]The award is voted on by the 130 FBS head coaches and their respective sports information directors. The list of contenders will be trimmed to five finalists in two weeks, with the winner being announced Dec. 7 live on ESPN.
