Four-star running back D’Andre Swift has announced his commitment to Georgia.

Swift (5-foot-10, 215 pounds), a U.S. Army All-American, ranks as the No. 4 player at his position and the No. 37 overall prospect for the 2017 recruiting class. He is the No. 1 recruit from Pennsylvania.

As a junior in 2015, Swift rushed for 1,029 yards on 164 attempts (6.3 ypc) and 12 touchdowns, adding 22 receptions with 321 yards and an additional four scores as a legitimate receiving threat. His 247Sports profile says he runs a 4.43 40-yard dash.

Georgia now has 15 verbal commitments for its ’17 class, which already includes four-star running back Toneil Carter.

Swift chose the Bulldogs over Penn State and Florida State, among many others.
