One of the top 150 overall prospects in the Class of 2016 has announced his top five, and two of them are SEC schools.
Receiver Quartney Davis out of Houston has Ole Miss and Texas A&M among his favorites along with Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and UCLA.
Davis had originally committed to the Aggies before backing out of his pledge in December right around the time news started spreading about freshman QB Kyler Murray’s transfer.
The 6-foot-2, 181-pounder is rated as the No. 26 receiver and No. 145 overall prospect by 247Sports.com. He’s also been offered by SEC schools Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Missouri and Tennessee as well as several other top programs.
The list of teams in his tweet are in no particular order, and Davis says he’ll be making his decision after his final official visit. Last Thursday, Davis mentioned that he’d be taking an official visit to College Station later this month.
