Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm competed in a college fishing tournament last weekend

Jake Fromm is keeping his competitive juices flowing this offseason.

The Georgia quarterback just happens to be doing so in atypical fashion.

College Football Reddit discovered that Fromm competed with Georgia’s bass fishing team in a Fishing League Worldwide tournament last weekend. Fromm and his partner, Jordan Rowe, finished No. 234 out of 273 entries in the collegiate fishing competition.

Fromm is a big fan of the outdoors as both a hunter and fisherman. He’s been known to post a picture or two of his adventures:

Based on the fact that Fromm didn’t catch any fish in what’s believed to be his first college competition, Kirby Smart probably doesn’t have to worry about losing his starting quarterback to his offseason hobby.
