South Carolina’s veteran kicker jabbed in-state rival Clemson on Wednesday with a tweet heard ’round the Palmetto State:
The Gamecocks are playing at LSU’s Tiger Stadium since historic flooding has raised safety concerns in Columbia.
Clemson’s unbeaten and ranked inside the Top 10, coming off its win over Notre Dame last weekend. The Tigers ran away from the Gamecocks early last season in ‘Death Valley’, ending a five-game skid in the series.
South Carolina hosts Clemson on Nov. 28. Based on the Gamecocks’ current 2-3 record, they may be facing a must-win situation for bowl eligibility.
