One of the most anticipated games of the 2020 regular season will be Georgia’s trip to Alabama.

Although Alabama hasn’t released Bryant-Denny Stadium’s expected capacity amid COVID-19, it’s expected to be much less. The date for Georgia’s trip to Alabama hasn’t even been announced yet, as the SEC will likely announce its schedule next week. Then, Alabama is expected to release its expected attendance numbers.

However, don’t count Kirby Smart as one who thinks the Bulldogs’ trip to play the Tide will be a quiet one. In fact, Smart expects Alabama to crank the noise this fall inside the stadium.

“I know this, they still have a stereo system,” Smart said on a 680 AM high school football roundtable show. “They’ll find a way to crank noise in there. I’m sure everybody in the SEC — you’ll probably still have to have earmuffs without the crowd just because of the sound systems. The home team is going to find a way to make it an advantage I can promise you that.”

Smart also confirmed Georgia will start practice Monday and will be wearing full pads soon.

You can watch Smart’s full interview below starting at 1:42:55 mark.
