ESPN’s College GameDay is heading to Athens next weekend to preview the matchup between undefeated Georgia and undefeated Notre Dame.

This will be a huge game in terms of its impact on the College Football Playoff picture, and Georgia fans are sure to show up in full force for the action.

One fan group, the UGA Spike Squad (which has 21.6K followers on Twitter), wants to see fans black out the stadium against the Fighting Irish:

It’s worth noting that replies to the above tweet are filled with back-and-forth discussions between fans who want the blackout and those who don’t. So, it’s far from unanimous among Georgia fans.

While the Georgia players will likely wear their traditional red jerseys next weekend (no formal announcement has been made), QB Jake Fromm said at SEC Media Days that he’d love to wear black jerseys against the Irish.
