One offensive tackle from Rhode Island is being recruited hard to come to the SEC.

Tyler Catalina, who will graduate this May and will be eligible to play his last season in 2016, is being targeted by Auburn, Florida and Georgia.

Catalina told Marc Weiszer of onlineathens.com that Texas A&M “came into the mix.” He committed to Iowa State in December while signing financial aid papers, but that doesn’t mean he has to play for the Cyclones.

Weiszer writes that Catalina is scheduled to visit the Bulldogs on Friday after visiting the Gators on Jan. 29. His trip to the Plains is scheduled for one week from now on Feb. 19.

Auburn drew some attention in its recruitment of Catalina recently with this image.

That’s obviously a play off the “Step Brothers” poster.

Georgia sees the 6-foot-5, 315-pounder can play either left or right tackle, according to Catalina himself. With the Rams, Catalina played right tackle in his first season before playing on the blind side in the last two.
